Unreal Engine - Niagara FX

For the following four sims, many thanks to tutorials by Steven Knipping (magic smoke, laser fire, water)

and Timothy Hanson (nebula) to help make them possible! :)

Nebula Flyby (Houdini) - w/ Audio

3D fluid sims. Ambient audio made with my synth keyboard

Laser fire / Dust & Dirt Kick-ups (Houdini)

3D simulations (lasers, dirt, dust, impact craters/cracks, etc.).

Magic Smoke Swirl (Houdini)

Magic smoke, sparkles, procedural volumes, VEX, vortex

River - Fluid FX (Houdini) - w/ Audio

FLIP sim, white water, wetmap, sprays, procedurally-generated rocks,

shaders, vorticity, etc.

Notes:

  • Steven Knipping tutorials made three Houdini clips shown below possible: Laser-fire, Magic Smoke Swirl, and River Water

  • The Nebula Fly-by was a personal Houdini project through the help of a Timothy Hanson tutorial

  • Shots from Spy Kids and Blaze were done using Maya, Phoenix FD, and Nuke
